Feed the Narrative was born out of the realization that there are countless stories left untold because organizations don’t know how to tell them, or the person charged with telling a story has minimal formal storytelling training.

David Martin
David Martin, author of PR for Startups and Growing Businesses, co-founded a boutique agency, Heed PR, alongside his wife Natalie. Prior to founding Heed, David was hired as a marketing specialist at a high-growth, VC-backed startup — where he inherited the task of generating earned media as well — and became a self-taught storytelling pro.
Over the years, David has used his on-the-job training to help dozens of organizations share their stories with the right audiences at the right moments. From startups and legacy businesses to healthcare entities and community groups, David has leveraged his PR know-how to propel organizations forward.

Natalie Roy Martin
Like many of you, Natalie Roy Martin has worn all the communicator hats. Her professional experience ranges from print and digital agency roles to small business marketing and PR. As co-founder of Heed PR and Feed the Narrative, Natalie spends most of her time on project management and business operations. While you may not hear from her often, just know she’s working hard in the background to ensure you have the best experience with our programs!
