When should a startup begin working on PR?

It’s a universal truism, the more time you give yourself to plan for a project or event, the greater your chances are for success. This is incredibly true in public relations. Last-second efforts often lead to frustration and missed opportunities, and what scant successes are achieved are typically fleeting. 

Obversely, a hallmark of the most successful PR efforts is longer preparation periods that allow for the implementation of communication strategies that are much more robust than simply flinging out a press release on the wings of a Hail Mary.
